As any self-respecting mother of teenage boys will tell you, generally the first thing that greets you when entering your son’s bedroom is the whiff of smelly socks and musty clothing lying around the room. And you often wonder how your rather sullen teenage son, who somehow finds somewhere to sleep under all that mess, will one day transform himself into a tidy, sleek, city executive (or so you hope!)

One of the ways to encourage your teenage son to keep his room tidy is to treat him to a new bedroom design. Get him to choose the décor with you, and he might be interested in keeping it tidy. On the other hand, he may just prefer to stay in there longer, but at least his bedroom retreat will be one that he is happy in.
